A meeting between the north and south-(east), digital set design, newly composed music, dance and musicians from different backgrounds. Its all about desire as a universal sense, regardless of cultural perspective and background.
The film penetrates into Are Andreassens inner life, meditative work and choices, and depth the art of metal graphics. It shows what the audience never sees in meeting a graphic artwork, - what disappears in the ethylated- and white spirit clouded veils, - close ups that give associations to landscape and architecture.
The film “Voice of life” is a poetic fable inspired by Knut Hamsun’s short story “The Voice of Life”, which is part of the short story collection Thicket (1903). The film is an ambivalent, vague and nostalgic journey into night. A woman and a man move dream-like down a desolate Hollywood Boulevard. In the city of American angels and dreams, they wander around among the stars on “The Walk of Fame”. Directed by Knut Erik Jensen, with Ellen Dorrit Petersen and Joseph Culp.

Eidegården AS -
A year along the abandoned road
"A Year along the Abandoned Road" is a portrait of a deserted fisherman's village in Northern Norway called Børfjord - a place with an incredible personality in the middle of a magnificent Arctic nature.
The 12 minute short film was filmed in 70mm Super Panavision, using a specially developed "nature animation" technique. The result is a magic flight in one single shot, along the remains of an internal village road. At the same time a whole year passes by at 50 000 times normal speed!
The film has been screened in 300 film festivals and has collected many awards. Directed by Morten Skallerud.
